Hydrogen peroxide can be used as a whitening mouth wash, eliminating the need to buy whitening pastes and mouth washes. It's recommended to use the cap on the peroxide bottle full on peroxide mixed with an equal amount of water once a day. This technique can also be used to prevent and treat canker sores.
Cleaning and Disinfecting
Hydrogen peroxide can be used as a cleaning product and disinfectant, reducing the need for other cleaning products. When applied to a rag and wiped over counter tops, tables, and cutting boards it kills germs and bacteria. Peroxide is proven to kill salmonella.
Hydrogen peroxide can be used to easily add natural highlights to your hair. Dilute the peroxide so the solution is 50% peroxide and 50% water. Spray the solution on wet hair simply creating natural highlights. This is not a way to produce drastic highlights, but naturally lighter highlights in the hair.
